Ladies and Gentlemen, gays and theys, Silver Screen, finest home of podcast family and entertainment, is proud to announce a first. The first time, anywhere, there has been an act of this nature. Not only one little podcast, but two! You've read about them in the papers and now here they are - a double header! Joining us this week, those scintillating sinners, Andy, Phil & Sarah from the 'We Pay For Your Floor' podcast. If you hadn't guessed they'll be joining Mike in talking about Best Picture Oscar winner 'Chicago', along with movie musicals in general and the sensual, sexual stage show. Unfortunately all the sin and debauchery was too much for sweet, innocent D.K who sat this one out. He was sorely missed but don't worry, he'll be back in force in the very next episode. In the meantime Mike and his guests have a vast discussion taking in deleted scenes, smoking, Sarah's irrational hatred of John C. Reilly and the timeless nature of media manipulation. But this ain't just a Silver Screen endeavour, we aim to represent the bright lights of WPFYF and it's combination of liquor, jazz and all the old razzle dazzle. As such this episode includes a fun (but competitive) game of guessing movie musicals by a sample of lyrics read out with as little emotion as possible, from the 1:00 mark until 1:22. Feel free to skip it, or skip straight to it! This episode was such fun to record, with lots to say on the subject from all involved. Hopefully you enjoy this series closing treat as well, after all you had it coming!
