Series 2, Episode 3 - "The Borg Queen can't come to the Collective right now. Why? Oh, because she's dead."
This week on the podcast we're back to talking about those pesky Borg, this time menacing the USS Voyager, as we review the two-part episode "Unimatrix Zero". Mike is joined all the way from the USA by podcast super-fan and all round super sweet lady Adrienne. We begin with a fascinating discussion of how Trek came into her life, her preferences of favourite episodes etc and debate everything from barely remembered episodes to communication tech in the Hit or Miss section. The episode review then takes in the weird nature of Voyager crew ranks, the casualness of assimilation cosplay, the Borg Queen's possible favourite pop star and much more.
Apologies for the somewhat spotty audio quality during parts of this episode. There were some connection issues during recording but it has been cleaned up by about 90% from the source, unfortunately leaving some unavoidable slight popping in places. Blame the Borg, they must have been trying to intercept our transmission.
