Series 2, Episode 8 - "I was today years old when Broccoli went stale!"

Welcome back Trek afficionados to another step on our journey of investigating the Borg and A.I. This week we're looking at a pivotal episode for arguably Trek's most famous artificial intelligence; TNG's "The Measure of a Man". Mike is joined this time by "Captain Janey", who stepped in on short notice and proved to be one of the best guests the podcast has had, well certainly the funniest. Though this is one you might not want to show the kids, it's fairly NSFW. Everyone else should watch though, and you'll discover what 25th Century beauracracy looks like, which ship is a "runty little f*cker", the importance of representation, the dangers of "deity play", how Trek can be viewed through a transgender lens and whether Bruce Maddox really understands boundaries. All of this and much more, including all the usual sections, discussion of faves, analysis etc. Enjoy!
