"You don't touch up the Mona Lisa"
Hello strangers. We know, it's been a while but hey, we're hitting you with another surprise unannounced episode. This is it, right here! This is the first in what may become an ongoing series of shorter "mini reviews", the reason for this one being that our Mike was fortunate enough to have seen the new 4k restoration of Star Trek: The Motion Picture (Robert Wise's superior director's edition) at the local Tyneside Cinema. As such Mike and D.K are here to talk about it. D.K has some questions about what changes may be apparent, the overall print quality, what improved effects to expect and more, while Mike shares what the experience was like and he and D.K compare their Letterboxd scores out of 5 (Mike's being newly reviewed). We hope you enjoy this episode and you're glad to have us back, don't worry you'll be seeing more of us from now on. We're hitting warp speed again (hopefully without causing a wormhole that hurls an asteroid at us).
