For MCMF's slightly late Pride special, Marcus and Jessie read the 2002 miniseries MEKANIX! Written by vaunted X-Men scribe Chris Claremont during his return to the franchise in the early aughts, this story features Kitty Pryde attempting to live a normal life while attending the University of Chicago and finding herself in the crosshairs of the anti-mutant hate group known as Purity.
