Dr. Richard M. Gamble, Anna Margaret Ross Alexander Chair in History and Politics at Hillsdale College, joins McConnell Center Director Dr. Gary L. Gregg II to discuss Gamble’s latest book, A Fiery Gospel: The Battle Hymn of the Republic and the Road to Righteous War. Gamble shares the origin story of Julia Ward Howe's "Battle Hymn of the Republic" and highlights a few of the surprising aspects of its history since publication.
