It Gets Better with Age with Laurie Handlers

In this episode, we are joined by Laurie Handlers the best selling author of Sex & Happiness: The Tantric Laws of Intimacy - and what an awesome conversation we had!

Single for most of her life, Laurie shares with us how she met her new husband, Micheal Gibson, and the extraordinary love that lead her to get married for the first time aged 75. As Laurie said, "It gets better with age", and we 100% believe her!

Laurie shares her journey of discovering Tantra and the missing elements she found in the practice that drove her work.

Laurie walks us through the the three Rs that can derail a relationship: Resentment, Resistance, and Revenge, and offers us some insights into what we can do to foster healthy communication. Relationships are not a fixed state, they require constant love and nurturing and this means speaking your truth, to choosing love over being right, and also asking for what we do want (ahhhh that old chestnut that we are terrible at in the UK!)

Laurie also highlights the significance of touch and offers advice on how to properly touch and connect with a partner.
