They might tell me it was five years ago or twenty-five years ago, they tell me it was when they got cancer or lost their job, they tell me it was in the town they grew up in or in a city where they didn’t know anyone. 

Next, I like to ask them, “What were you reading at that time of great transformation?” Nine out of ten times, their eyes will light up, and they’ll say, “I was reading _____ and that book changed my life.”
