Oliver Termeulen, the owner of Sit Walk Stay(SWS) a dog care business based in Watford Hertfordshire.

In this episode, Luke Beastall gets to speak to Oliver about his journey starting his own business and how he overcame certain challenges within his life to get where he is today.

From taking the risk to leave his old job in the past working as a supermarket employee. To then pursuing his love working with dogs.

Oliver has been praised for his work, helping many clients over the years to ensure that their pets are well looked after. He states within this episode that his love for dogs has gave him the ability to empathize with others and that has been key to the longevity of his success. With the hopes to one day expand his business and become a certified dog trainer.

But as a dog walker and sitter, it hasn't all been smooth sailing. Within this episode Oliver openly shares his journey with overcoming different hurdles, including the likes of self-doubt, depression and having dyslexia. While simultaneously building his own business.

Reflecting upon his past experiences and seeing where he is now, Oliver openly expresses the need to look after oneself having dealt with his own personal and mental struggles.

As in the past he found it hard to set healthy boundaries for himself when it came to achieving a healthy work and life balance when it came to his own wellbeing. He urges people to seek support and to talk openly about their mental health.

And to continue pursuing what you love to do and to not listen to those negative voices, internally and externally. Do what makes you happy as you have only got yourself at the end of the day and you need to live your life the way you want to live it. Not the way others perceive and want you to live your life.

Overall, his story is a testament to the power of perseverance and following your passion.
