In the one hundred eighth minute of Joe Johnston’s 2011 film Captain America: The First Avenger...What a sad minute! Well, that’s if you can buy into the fact that Steve can’t figure out any other way out of here, or that Colonel Phillips and his team can’t track the Valkyrie from the HYDRA Base from which they’re currently working. But yes, the romance is great and the tragedy hits you right in your feels. But why does Colonel Phillips stand in the back hallway and just... watch? Like a creeper?
Regardless, it’s a tragi-romantic minute as Steve plungs into the ice. Tune in!
