In the ninety-ninth minute of Joe Johnston’s 2011 film Captain America: The First Avenger...Red Skull pushes the Valkyrie forward and Steve chases after, and it’s a bit of nonsense. Yeah, this is that minute with that terribly CG chain swing that Cap does over the Hydra troops. Plus, it’s speed ramped so the cheesiness is emphasized. But we still have fun with it. And we enjoy the fact that Colonel Phillips and Agent Carter somehow found Schmidt’s Coupe in the back of the tarmac and are chasing after Steve and Red Skull. We chat about the rocket booster button that Phillips pushes, some wonky CG work, and the very fast car.
We’re getting closer to getting Steve onto that plane! Tune in!
