Shasta Gateway 50k Race Report

#24 - Northern California is mostly wild lands. Much of the area is forested with great trails that are seldom used. This was the inaugural year of the Shasta Gateway 50m/50k/30k/10k. I finished the 50k and it was the hardest race I've ever accomplished. I go over in detail what made it hard and why I feel quite proud of myself for finishing.
