The Word of God is never just handed to us: it is never forced upon us. If we are to receive it’s message, we have to go over to the book shelf, table, or drawer and take it and study it. In this passage in Revelation John was told to do something that seemed to be very weird, "Eat the Book". John took the book and did as he was told. Why was he told to do that and what happened?
