The temple will be rebuilt in the last days. It will be elevated above the surrounding area and transformed into a worldwide religious center, called the house of Israel's God. Jesus will sit on the throne of David, rule the nations, decide national issues,  and arbitrate disputes. Weapons will be destroyed and war will cease. Military preparations will end.

In the Old testament, years before Jesus arrived on the scene, Isaiah the Prophet was predicting the future.
