ASX 200 ends a sloppy day on lows down 22 points at 7270 after a positive start was ambushed by Chinese PPI and consumer sentiment. The Big Bank Basket slid back to $182.92 and industrials fell with BKW firing up and building a 11.3% gain on its local and US outlook. ALU slipped 7.5% on bid concerns and the All Tech Index fell 0.6%. Miners firm on coal and iron ore prices but gold miners off slightly.
