ASX 200 closes up only 2.4 points to 7094.9 on a soft match out. Dow Futures down 30 points. Banks slid with the Big Bank basket down to $180.11 and CBA dropping 0.6% on its investor day. Big Miners did ok with FMG up 4.9%. CGC got smashed down 24% on growth outlook disappointment and FPH came in below estimates falling 6%. AMP had a rare day up 8.5% and TPG also on the podium up 8.0%. Victorian lockdown weighs but travel stocks firm, WEB up 1.4%.
