Help! When is the right time to approach the birds & the bees talk with your children

What a week it was for us, a slight shock on the birds and the bees talk along with the names of the reproductive organs … oooh you’ve got to love kids and their innocent minds

So it was unexpected but better than I thought conversation, it’s so important to be open with your children and for them to be able to approach you openly with no embarrassment whatsoever.

How did you deal with it ?

I don’t think in this day & age we can avoid the awkward questions with all the online platforms that are available for kids to access.

Having a child with SEN can be tricky especially when thinking about child appropriate content. I had to tread carefully but firm boundaries need addressing early on.
