In this episode I interview Jesse Owens. Jesse is a visual artist based in Oceanside, CA. I came across Jesse and his work at an art walk a few years back and picked up a print of his called “In Love With Judas.” I love it. Jesse creates work surrounding pop culture, his inner world, and the connections between us all. In this episode we talk about using his art as a bridge, bringing a theatrical element to the world of two dimensional art, and seeing “The Other” for what connects us rather than for what divides.
