when we make assumptions, we are living within the walls of those assumptions. when we choose black and white, all or nothing thinking, we don’t account for the magic that lies in the color, and the gray. these deeply rooted interpretation of ourselves cause us to assume things are true when often they are not, but they also limit us to the (often bleak) filter we’ve been interpreting the world through.
