I tend to get quickly attached to people who are emotionally unavailable because it resembles the patterns I am trying to heal from my childhood. The more aware I get of this pattern, the less likely I am to attempt to hold the "wrong" people (for me) to standards they can't/won't/shouldn't meet. You're good enough - regardless of who has made you feel otherwise in your lifetime. Trust me. You're worthy of love. Just don't get lost in the sauce of "proving" that to yourself through the actions of others.
