In mid of April, a group of Asian elephant has “ran away” from their original habitat in Xishuangbanna Nature Reserve and started to head to north. It is a very unusual incident for Asian elephants to move from south to north, therefore, it has attracted great attention from public. In today’s story, we are going to look at what happened for the elephants and the neighborhood along the way they are travelling and discuss what the possible reasons are caused the elephants to leave their “hometown”.
