In 1876, Arthur Conan Doyle was studying to be a doctor at the Edinburgh Medical School [醫學院]. There he learned from Professor [教授] Bell, one of the school’s best doctors. Professor Bell was a good teacher and very good at helping patients [病人]. He always carefully examined [審查] a patient then made a very accurate [準確] diagnosis [診斷] based on what he saw.
