Specifically, as Christians, we must have a plan for what Jesus has asked us to do. We have a savings plan for college tuition and/or for retirement in order to have the necessary resources when needed. In much the same way, we must have a deliberate plan to do God's work. He calls us to be both salt (flavoring the fallen world with His Spirit) AND light (shining His light in the darkness).
