The ladies of LoveTalk - Cathy, Kerri, and Marlene - host well-known Austin businessman, Joe Bland, who shares his vision for a city-wide celebration commemorating 60th anniversary of Martin Luther King's famous "I Have a Dream" speech. The vision is "to create a thriving community where neighbors care for neighbors in such a fashion that citizens and visitors alike say 'Greater Austin cares deeply for all of the people in the region.'" Dreamtogether2030 will host this kick-off event on August 28th at 9 a.m. on the Texas State Capitol steps to begin a multi-year campaign intended to engage area churches and communities to help neighbors in need through early education, foster care & adoption support, workforce development, food security, and economic empowerment.
