Endebrock visit with State Senator Lois Kolkhorst at the conclusion of the first week of the 88 th
Texas Legislative Session. The Senator shares her background, her faith in God, and her
legislative priorities. In her more than 20 years of legislative service, Senator Kolkhorst has
passed legislation impacting every code within Texas law. Senator Kolkhorst serves as
chairwoman for both the Senate Committee on Health & Human Services and the Special
Committee on Child Protective Services, in addition to serving on 14 other Senate committees.
In Senate District 18, the Senator represents all or part of 18 Texas counties and nearly one
million constituents.
