“One Stroke Before Midnight!” - Part 1

As we embrace the prophetic Word of God that is revealed in the Book of Daniel with record of his angelic visitation, we are granted revelatory foretelling of the man of lawlessness – also known as the Antichrist – and the last events which will take place before, during, and after his tyrannical reign leading up to the End of the Age.   The last Chapter stands as an exclamation point to the previous Chapters with the angel of God exhorting Daniel to seal up the book because the time is not yet. 

However, as we take a look into another angelic visitation – this time to the Apostle John on the Island of Patmos, in the last Chapter of the Book of Revelation (which echoes the Book of Daniel) we are given another exclamation point to the prophetic insight that is revealed in the previous Chapters that precede it. But this time the angel tells John to not seal up the book for the time is near.

So just how near are we?  I believe that as we open ourselves up to Holy Spirit discernment and weigh every current event that is playing out in the earth against the Prophetic Word of God, we will find that we are very near indeed – probably closer than many believe.
