Welcome to Day 42 of the Pentecast on LOVECHURCH — The Podcast. Today, Tim is joined by Abi Andrews as they dive into Paul’s powerful letter to the Ephesians — a radiant, Spirit-filled vision of the Church and God’s love.

Paul writes that “through the Church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known” — manifold meaning many-coloured, diverse, rich, and vibrant. Tim and Abi reflect on this beautiful picture of a multiracial, multicultural Church united not by background or status, but by Christ. Abi shares how this vision has come alive for her in worship — especially moments when the congregation prays in different languages, giving a glimpse of heaven on Earth.

At the heart of the episode is Paul’s extraordinary prayer in Ephesians 3: “that you... may have power... to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ… and to know this love that surpasses knowledge.” It’s a breathtaking request — to be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

As Tim and Abi discuss, this is not just a lofty idea, but something Paul deeply believed the Church could and should experience — and something we can still pray for today.
