The Pentecast: Day 41 - Clement Tracol

Welcome to Day 41 of the Pentecast on LOVECHURCH — The Podcast. Today, Tim is joined by Clement Tracol as they reflect on two of the most beloved and challenging chapters in the New Testament: 1 Corinthians 12 and 13.

Paul begins in chapter 12 with a vision of the church as one unified body, made up of many parts. Each person is gifted in unique ways by the Holy Spirit — not for personal status, but to build up the whole body. But then, in chapter 13, Paul pivots to what truly matters most: love.

Clement reminds us that the gifts are nothing without love at the centre. We’re called not only to serve and use our gifts within the church, but to love others deeply — including those outside the church. Tim reflects on how powerful and piercing Paul's words are: “Love is patient, love is kind… it always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.”

Together they explore how love is more than a feeling — it’s a radical, mature choice to treat others with grace, patience, and perseverance. And when we’re not sure what to do? If in doubt, love.
