The Pentecast: Day 10 - Mark & Celina Timms

It’s day 10 of our daily Pentecast on LOVECHURCH — The Podcast. Today’s guests are Mark and Celina Timms, joining Tim Matthews to talk about faith, courage, and keeping our eyes fixed on God when challenges loom large.

Today's focus is Numbers 13–14 and the beginning of Joshua. The Israelites are poised to enter the Promised Land, but fear gets the better of most of them — except for Caleb and Joshua, who boldly declare, "We can do this! God is with us!" Mark and Celina reflect on the choice we all face: to see life through the eyes of fear or faith. It’s not always easy to stand firm, but as they share, daily habits of prayer, reading Scripture, and staying close to the Holy Spirit are key to keeping strong and courageous.

Their prayer is a passionate call to lean into God's strength every day. Just as Joshua and Caleb trusted God's promises despite the giants ahead, we’re invited to do the same in our lives — to be a people who walk by faith, not fear. See you tomorrow for Day 11!
