Join us as we examine the (not-so-radical) notion that if we plan less, and live more freely in the present moment, our lives will unfold in the most beautiful ways -- without the need to force specific outcomes. We explored:
With a background in psychology, a master's in creative and experiential arts therapy and trained as a psychedelic-assisted therapist, Australian-born Avá-Joy Sloan self-describes as a meditation teacher with a passion for dancing and poetry.
In 2017, Avá founded Laprana– an integrative, experiential companioning practice supporting individuals in opening into the infinite present moment, to discover for themselves, the sacredness of all of life. With a home base in Melbourne Australia, Avá is currently living a nomadic life, companioning individuals around the world to connect to the present moment through the innate medicine of the natural world in combination with contemplative, creative, and experiential forms of self-inquiry.
Avá sees a future where exploration into the depths of one's own being is the norm, taught and understood from an early age. Until then, Ava plans to continue companioning individuals to fearlessly break beyond self & societally imposed illusions and limitations of mind to find a greater sense of purpose, joy and lasting inner peace.
You can read Ava's poetry, find her latest offerings and connect with her for 1:1 online sessions via her website www.laprana.com.au.
