Exam Pressure? Not feeling good enough? Anxiety taking over? 

Feeling overwhelmed is something we all feel at times and it can be intense. When looking ahead at all that you feel you have to do it seems unmanageable. No way through. This isn’t the case, there are things that can help you, and for World Teen Mental Wellness Day we want to raise the awareness and understanding around Mindfulness. 

We discuss with Olivia, a 16 year old due to sit her GCSE’s, how mindfulness can be applied to help you when feeling overwhelmed. We discuss how taking a different approach can help you manage not only your time, but your emotions and build confidence in yourself too.

Preventing overwhelm is possible and awareness is the first step. Taking small steps to protect yourself and bringing your awareness to how you feel is valuable. You will start to see that focusing in the present helps you work through what you can control.
