My guest is Daniel Klem Jr., a professor of Biology and Sarkis Acopian Professor of Ornithology and Conservation Biology at Muhlenberg College. After dedicating the last 48 years of his life to avian window collisions, he is widely-recognized as the foremost authority on the subject; he has recently released a book on the topic - Solid Air, The Invisible Killer: Saving Billions of Birds from Windows. Dan tells us about his book, about becoming a professor, some wonderful observations of birds, including the American Woodcock.
