Ep. 167: Tribute to Willie Mays

On this week's special episode of Long Gone, the boys pay homage to baseball's greatest player, who passed away on June 18th of 2024 at the age of 93: Willie Mays. In his illustrious 23-year career, the Say Hey Kid amassed 3,293 hits, 660 home runs, 2,068 runs, 1,909 RBIs and had a lifetime .301/.384/.557. He was twice a MVP winner, won Rookie of the Year in 1951, was a 12x Gold Glove winner and was a 24x All Star. Mays was everything and more to the sport and he did it with a smile. Afterwards, the boys round out the show with Fantasy Factory and Collection Corner.
