Ep. 156: Opening Week Reactions, TV Talk, Then & Now (DH)

On this week's episode of Long Gone, the boys give their instant reactions to the Opening Week of the 2024 season. It's been full of surprises, with certain teams and players having rough starts out of the gate, and others who are taking their games to a whole other level. Let's chill and not overact as the boys dive in. There was a seemingly under-the-radar jersey controversy this season that was found to be a problem with the players and even fans the boys break down, which leads into a deeper discussion about television broadcasting and the landscape in Major League Baseball. From great announcers to MLB tv package plans that are good and bad, the boys give the whole shebang-a-bang. And we are finally here, the Then & Now series has come to an end until next offseason. The boys select their top-five designated hitters in the game right now. Note, there are none for the 1950s for obvious reasons. Afterwards, they round out the show with the return of Fantasy Factory and Collection Corner!
