Season 5 Episode 21: Martin Brothers

Jared sits down with the Martin Brothers. They share their first-hand experience as young members of their family, serving a mission in Kenya. At the ages of 7 and 13, they and their family lived through the 2007-2008 Kenyan Crisis, which was a violent political, economic, and humanitarian crisis that erupted after former president Mwai Kibaki was declared the winner of the presidential election held on Dec. 27, 2007.
They talk about what it was like living there before, and then as the violence erupted, and what their family did to survive and eventually escape the country.
