From Huron and studying in Akron, Hunter Rose (formerly Huntie G) is a solo female artist who re-emerged this year into the Nu Metal / Dark Contemporary music scene. We go Deep in the Discog to have her comment on her journey that has ultimately landed her on this unique sound that not a lot of young women are doing right now. As a solo artist, she plays keys, guitar, drums, and vocalizes on top of producing most of her songs on her own.

This lively conversation goes quickly with lots to be uncovered such as feeling what you’re writing and making, the fun keyboard settings we used to mess with when we were kids, and what life would be like without autocorrect. On top of her music, Hunter is also studying to be a therapist and is a huge mental health advocate, which is showcased in a lot of her music. Also, she’s a 3D printer, gamer, and streamer, NBD.
