The Minnesota Wild 2021 Year in Review

On today's episode of Locked on Wild, Zach Zeman joins as we recap 2021! We look at the game of the year, which was far and away the shootout win against Toronto in November. Especially considering the Wild dominated early and had Toronto on the ropes before their comeback. We also look at the 2021 Player of the Year which goes to Ryan Hartman. We picked Hartman because he has delivered on his promise to be more aggressive and shoot the puck more. Hartman has gone from a 3rd line wing to top center on the team in just over one season, which is sensational. We finish by previewing the Winter Classic, with Zach dropping some dimes on Blues backup goalie Charlie Lindgren, a Minnesota native, and why he may be the best option for the Blues in net with Jordan Binnington working his way back from COVID-19. The game will be a cold one, with the puck drop temperature being the second coldest ever for an outdoor game.
