Starting the 2021-22 Wild Season off Strong

On today's episode of Locked on Wild, Zach Zeman joins the show on the eve of the Wild season starting! We start by giving major props to TNT and ESPN for their productions during game and studio shows as the season returns to their networks. We love the studio crew for TNT, including Wayne Gretzky and it's nice to have networks that are excited to grow the game. We move to the Wild's October schedule and look at just how hot of a start they can get off to for the 2021-22 season. Both Seth and Zach see no reason the Wild can't start the season 6-2 or 5-3 at the least. We also try to figure out how the Wild will split up the goalie starts for the first 8 games. We finish the show looking at any areas we are still concerned about as the season starts, with both Seth and Zach pointing to the 3rd D pairing and the 3rd line with Kevin Fiala. If those areas end up playing alright, the season will be better. Seth also calls for calm if the season doesn't start the way we hope it does.
