POSTCAST: Wild Dumped at Home by Oilers 5-3

The Minnesota Wild lost another game at Xcel Energy center as they fell to Edmonton by a score of 5-3. The Wild led 2-0 in the first period on goals from Matt Boldy and Marco Rossi, but Edmonton managed to tie the score before the  period ended. Ryan Hartman gave the Wild a 3-2 lead to start the 2nd period, but the Oilers scored 3 straight goals to take the lead for good. Filip Gustavsson stopped 31 of 36 shots but his run of goals allowed continues in his last few starts. The Wild Power Play was 2/3, but the Penalty Kill surrendered another goal. The Wild fell to 11-10-1 with the loss and are now in danger of falling out of the 2 spot in the Central with Dallas just 1 point behind. The Wild are at Nashville on Saturday for their next game, and will hopefully have reinforcements available for that game.
