POSTCAST: Shorthanded Wild Dumped by Avs 6-1

The Minnesota Wild lost their first game to the Colorado Avalanche this season by a score of 6-1. The Wild, missing Kirill Kaprizov, Brock Faber, Jonas Brodin, Jared Spurgeon, Jakub Lauko and with Marc=Andre Fleury sick, fell behind 2-0 early on before Zach Bogosian scored for the second straight game to make it 2-1. After that it was all Avalanche, as the Wild wait for their injury report to lessen sometime soon. The Wild did not surrender a Power Play goal, but the Avs scored while shorthanded in the win. The Wild play San Jose on Saturday for their next game and we will see if anyone is able to return before then.
