The Minnesota Wild beat the Detroit Red Wings 4-1 at Xcel Energy Center to improve to 16-11-2. The Wild got an early goal from Freddy Gaudreau on the Power Play and Ryan Reaves made his presence felt in the first period with a couple of heavy hits. The Wild also received goals from Matt Dumba, Mats Zuccarello and an empty net goal from Freddy Gaudreau to seal the win. Filip Gustavsson stopped 16 of 17 shots to secure the win. Next up the Wild host Chicago on Friday night.
