Kirill Kaprizov is NOT Returning to the KHL

On today's episode of Locked on Wild, Seth and Zach get to the bottom of the Kirill Kaprizov contract negotiations. We start with the latest update from Frank Servalli that Kaprizov has a tentative agreement with CSKA Moskow to return to the KHL if he doesn't agree to a new deal with the Wild. We then look at some other sources that deny that is accurate. We also bring in some recent comments from Ilya Sorokin, who further douses the legitimacy of Kaprizov returning to the KHL.

We discuss the legitimacy of the salary reportedly offered considering the low overall salary cap of the KHL and the fact that it is already set for the upcoming season. And we finish by looking at recent deals handed out to 29 year old free agents, which is the age Kaprizov would be heading into free agency if he signs a 5 year deal with the Wild this offseason.
