Have the Wild Established their 2021-22 Floor and Ceiling Yet?

On today's episode of Locked on Wild, we start by chatting with Minnesota Wild prospect, and freshman defenseman Jack Peart of the Saint Cloud State University Men's Hockey team. We ask Jack about how the season is going so far and how he has adjusted to playing at the college level. We ask Jack what his favorite aspect of college hockey has been so far, and which NHL players he models his game after.

We move to whether or not the Wild have established their floor or ceiling performance level so far in the 2021-22 season. As far as a floor goes, it seems as though the floor for the Wild is competitive games in which they allow opponents to hang around for too long before winning late. As far as the ceiling? It's safe to say we haven't seen that yet, but the win over the Islanders is close to it. We finish by looking at how Ryan Hartman has been sensational so far this year, and how his versatility has been vital to the Wild's early season success.
