Divine Intervention in Game 5

On today's episode of Locked on Wild, Seth recaps an improbable Game 5 win for the Wild in which they rewrote the entire script of the series by dominating early in the second period and still winning. Seth gives a passionate monologue about how sometimes the script just needs to be torn up, and sometimes the favorite doesn't win even when they play better. We also hand out our Three Stars of the Game, with great performances by Kirill Kaprizov, Zach Parise and of course Cam Talbot. We look at how Talbot was able to survive as dominant of a second period as you will ever see from the Golden Knights and then keep them off the board in the third. We also hand out praise to Dean Evason for his line tweaks such as moving Victor Rask back to the Kaprizov line and moving Ryan Hartman to the Fiala line. Onward to Game 6!
