Bold Predictions for 2021-22!

On today's episode of Locked on Wild, Zach Zeman joins the show and we start by recapping the Tom Kurvers Prospect Showcase. Matt Boldy and Marco Rossi stole the show all weekend, but Seth and Zach talk about a couple of other players who did well throughout the weekend. Seth also notes that Jesper Wallstedt is probably the best goalie in the Wild system right now, despite a nice game from Dereck Baribeau. Also, how nice is it to have the Blackhawks rivalry back?

We move to the bold predictions, which start with a huge season for Nico Sturm, who has been steadily gaining momentum since he cracked the Wild's lineup. We also discuss a make or break year for Matt Dumba, and what he can do to shore up the top line defensive pairing for the Wild. We also look at the possibility of Rossi, Boldy AND Calen Addison all making the Wild roster to start the season. And we finish by discussing the importance of Cam Talbot showing his dominance with the full schedule on tap this year and a move back to the Central Division.
