A Rivalry Renewed with the Blackhawks

On today's episode of Locked on Wild, Locked on Blackhawks host Jack Bushman joins the show to preview this weekend's series between Chicago and the Wild. This is the first time these two teams have played since the 2019-2020 season, and so the rivalry can finally be renewed! We start by talking Blackhawks, and how Chicago was able to right the ship after a rough start to the season. We discuss how Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews have helped Chicago's young players along. And we finish by talking about how Seth Jones has rounded into form after his own slow start.

We switch to the Wild and look at how the Wild were able to get off to such a hot start despite expectations being lower this year. We talk about why Dean Evason and Bill Guerin have had such good success through their tenure so far. We look at the career year former Blackhawk Ryan Hartman is having so far this year, and how Matt Boldy has fit right in since his promotion.
