The Maryland Terrapins had just started getting ready for the college football season before this huge news dropped that Washington and Oregon would be joining the Big 10 in 2024.

Turning the conversation to three Maryland Terrapin football players who are on preseason watchlist. Taulia Tagovailoa was selected for the Maxwell Award watch list. The Maxwell Award is given to the best player in college football. Other names on the list include Brock Bowers, Caleb Williams, and Marvin Harrison.

Next, Jeshaun Jones was selected for the Paul Hornung Award preseason watch list. The Paul Hornung Award goes to the most versatile player in college football. Jones is a sixth-year player for the University of Maryland.

Lastly, We talk about Colton Spangler, who was named to the Ray Guy Award preseason watch list for the top punter in the country.

For the last topic of the day, Zach and I turn our attention to the Maryland Basketball team. The Maryland basketball team is currently on a trip to Rome. They played two games where the Terps blew out their competition. Zach and I give updates on Jaime Kaiser and DeShawn Harris-Smith and how the two freshmen are playing.
