Cade Cunningham contributed significantly with 21 points and 11 assists, while Jalen Duren was a force in the paint, adding 13 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. The Pistons displayed a dominant offensive performance, shooting 53.4% from the field and out-rebounding the Celtics 50-32. Boston struggled offensively, shooting only 41.3% overall and committing 19 turnovers that led to 24 points for Detroit. Despite Jayson Tatum's impressive 27-point performance for the Celtics, Detroit's defensive pressure and fast-break points propelled them to a decisive win.
