It was only a matter of time but Locked On Pistons has to talk about LaVar Ball as Stan Van Gundy has dipped his toes into the coaches protest of ESPN regarding their coverage of everyone's favorite sports dad.

Detroit also went after Amin Elhassan on Twitter after he went at SVG and then the city of Detroit on his TV and Twitter platforms. It was all in (mostly) good fun and an obvious troll job.

But host Matt Schoch raises the question: Isn't Elhassan personifying his own Ball-type agenda by playing a wrestling heel character against Detroit? Isn't that proving the coaches protest point against his network?
