The SEC/Big12 Challenge ended in a W in convincing fashion inside Gallagher-Iba Arena. Yes, not only did we beat down Ole Miss 82-60 we also were the game that officially solidified the ending W of the entire SEC/Big12 Challenge Series. Oh, it feels nice. The classless local news paper's jab at Spencer Sanders & Ole Miss for getting our SS "leftovers" was the only black eye on the evening. We played at probably 81% of our entire potential and absolutely drug the Rebels through the mud... or more appropriately, the clay. That wonderful red clay makes for a mighty fine day/date. But a W in front of a nice, fired up crowd was worth every ounce of energy spent discussing the sadness of watching the attendance suffer & pleading for more people to try to fill it up. IT is worth it; WE are worth it. And we are a headache on the horizon for anyone who has the misfortune of crossing us on a "good" night. Now close your eyes and imagine a GREAT night. That's all.
